Campus Commons Participant
"[It was impactful to witness] how many other young Jews from so many different places, perspectives... and ethnic backgrounds are committed to creating pluralism in their homes and communities. I was amazed by the thoughtfulness, commitment... and passion that my peers brought with them. I am also left with the pervasive feeling that this experience was such a gift..."
In January 2025, Campus Commons Cohort 1 gathered together from 27 campuses across the US & Canada. You can get a taste of the retreat schedule here.
The commitment of each student to growth, amidst a diverse cohort and rich, complex conversations, was truly remarkable. To the right is a word cloud showcasing the three words our students used to describe their Campus Commons experience so far.
Sessions the students immersed in:
3 diverse shiurim, or text-based sessions, with topics exploring boundaries, multitudes, and language.
2 skills-based training programs grounded in psychology.
1 impactful workshop exploring bridge-building skills through music.
